Todays tutorial was really helpful, From it we have decided to narrow the subject down alot. The site should become alot more ellusive, and less information based. We want it to become more of an experience. The topics have changed sightly. The old topics where topics within themselves.
The new areas of the site are:
Telephone: Focusing on the wires.
Trams: more the wires and the direction around the city, (This helps link the site to a city guide)
Sounds: looking at the background noise of technology (such as a computer fan or pylon crackle){this will be less a separate part of the site, but tigh in with the rest of the info}
Dodgy Wiring (safety): dangers of different wires, exposed wiring, and signs (gives the website a purpose/audience)
We have looked at switches and thought this could be a great way for the end user to navigate around the site. Lucy and I have done some rough sketching of the front page. Ill put some sketches up in a bit.

That sounds good, i like that the idea of the tram wires being back which we can link in nicely with the phone lines, I'm going to an old map shop tomorrow afternoon, will try and pick up a really old map of nottingham which we could do something really nice with.
I'll stop my boring research into plug sockets now then (thank god) and hopefully speak to you all tomorrow after one of the lectures and sort out something to do over to weekend.
